Strengths and Needs matrix

As previously mentioned, the data gathered during the needs analysis questionnaire that was conducted with colleagues, students and the school principal, many needs were detected among the groups I will be teaching. Students really need more exposure to the target language and take advantage of their learning styles and context. They need to relate their own identity with meaningful activities through the target language. Despite the lack of teaching materials and resources, the social service will provide an opportunity to enhance English language learning by implementing dynamic and contextualized activities. Teacher will take advantage of visual aids because the students find them very interesting and catching.  Finally the syllabus needs to be adapted to students’ needs.
